Ronspot has a number of Single Sign On (SSO) options available to employees to make it easier to register and login to the service. The advantage of SSO for employees is that they do not need to register separately for an account and can login directly using their existing email credentials.
From the app
Step 1 – Open the Ronspot mobile app
Step 2 – Choose one of the following Single Sign-On options*:
- Microsoft AD
- ADFS On Premises
*For this to work, ensure that your company has connected their Single Sign-On method to Ronspot
Step 3 – From here, you will get directed to the Single Sign-On service, and will need to login with your own details. None of these login details are made available to Ronspot. You will then be logged in and will be directed to the app homepage to make bookings.
From the web portal
Step 1 – On your computer, navigate to my.ronspot.ie
Step 2 – In this example we are going to use the SSO service OKTA to indicate how it works. It is the same process for the other SSO services. Towards the bottom of the page there is an option to chose the OKTA SSO service. See below with red arrow indicated. Click on this icon.
Step 3 – On the following page, you will be invited to enter your work email address. From here you will get directed to your Single Sign-On service, such as OKTA, and will need to login with your own details. None of these login details are made available to Ronspot. You will then be logged in and will be directed to the homepage to make bookings.
