After redesigning our mobile app in July 2025 and delivering major updates to the admin panel in March 2025 (Phase 1) and November 2025 (Phase 2), we’re now turning our attention to the web experience. This update introduces a modern interface, improved navigation, and closer alignment with the mobile experience, while keeping the booking process you already know the same. Let’s take a closer look at what’s changing.
Take a tour of the new web experience
Use the Next and Back buttons to navigate through the screens and explore the updated interface, enhanced navigation, and refreshed design. Each step will guide you through the key changes and improvements introduced in the new web experience.
Why we’re making this change
This long-awaited redesign is more than a new look: it’s a smoother, more modern experience with new features, the same familiar booking flow, and a unified platform across Web, Mobile, and Teams.
1. A better look and feel
Our web app has received a complete visual refresh, with a cleaner design, improved navigation, and closer alignment with the mobile experience. The result is a more modern, intuitive, and enjoyable experience.
2. The same booking journey
The booking process remains unchanged, so employees can continue booking desks and parking spaces exactly as before. What’s new is the addition of features previously available only on mobile, bringing web and mobile users onto the same feature set.
3. A native Microsoft Teams app
The new web app also powers our next-generation Teams app. Built using React, it delivers a more seamless Teams experience while allowing web and Teams users to benefit from new features and improvements at the same time.
We’ve refreshed the left-hand navigation menu, moving from six items to eight, and making labels clearer and more consistent across the platform.
Here’s what’s changing:

Two other improvements worth noting:
-
- A collapsible left menu: The navigation can be minimised using the green arrow below the logo, giving you more space for key content.
- Your company logo in the menu: If you’ve uploaded your company logo in both rectangular and square formats, it will now replace the Ronspot logo in the navigation menu. The rectangular logo will be displayed when the menu is expanded, while the square version will appear when the menu is minimised, creating a more branded and consistent experience throughout the platform.
Let’s explore each section in more detail.
Home
The new Home tab replaces the old Meetings tab and expands on it.
It gives you a complete overview of all your Ronspot bookings in one place, including parking bookings, desk bookings, and meetings. Everything is shown together in a clean, grid-style view and ordered chronologically, so you can quickly see what’s coming up next.
While this page isn’t entirely new (you could already view meetings in a grid format), it now also includes desk and parking bookings, which weren’t previously visible here. The main advantage is that you no longer need to filter by zone (as you would in the Calendar) to see everything. Instead, you can view and manage all bookings across every zone in a single, chronological view. This makes it much easier to track activity and oversee reservations, especially for organisations with multiple zones.
This update brings the web app in line with the mobile experience and gives employees one consistent place to view their upcoming bookings.
Calendar
Previously known as Dashboard, this page has been renamed to better reflect what it actually shows: a calendar.
A clearer calendar layout
The calendar is now displayed full width, and we’ve updated how availability is shown so it’s easier to understand at a glance.
- When space is available, availability is still represented with a green circle, now positioned in the top-right corner of the day cell.
- When no availability remains, the previous green “cross” indicator has been replaced with a grey circle, also in the top-right corner.
- Each booking is now shown inside the cell as an orange ribbon, giving more space to clearly display the space or room name.
We’ve also refreshed the controls at the top of the screen:
- Check-in button: now displayed as a clear button (instead of an icon) for better visibility
- Filters: the funnel icon has been replaced by a settings icon (functionality remains the same)
- Zone selector: now centred to improve visibility (previously on the far right)
- Monthly / Weekly toggle (new): switch between a full month view and a 7-day view, especially useful for hourly bookings and meetings, and consistent with the mobile app
- Credit balance: moved to the top-right with a star icon for clearer visibility and consistency with mobile
- Notifications (new): a new notifications area to view updates directly in the web app (previously only available on mobile)
Improved booking pop-up
The pop-up used to make or cancel a booking has also been visually refreshed to provide clearer information and a more modern design. The key actions remain the same, including Go to map, Get a random space, or Cancel booking.
Weekly calendar
The Monthly/Weekly toggle at the top of the page lets you switch between calendar views. The Weekly view displays the next seven days in a column-based layout, providing a clearer overview of hourly desk and meeting room bookings. The calendar is fully interactive, with bookings viewable, editable, and manageable directly from the calendar.
Map
The map itself isn’t new, but getting to it is now faster and more intuitive.
Menu shortcut (new)
Previously, users had to go through the Calendar and click Go to map (this option is still available). Now, the Map also has its own dedicated item in the left-hand navigation.
This means you can jump straight to the map (showing today’s date by default) and change the booking date from the top of the screen. It mirrors the mobile experience and reduces unnecessary clicks.
We’ve also refreshed the controls at the top of the screen:
- Back button (removed): you can now simply click Calendar in the left navigation to return. (When you navigate to the map, the highlighted menu item switches from Calendar to Map, so it’s always clear where you are.)
- Date picker: updated design, same functionality
- Zone selector (new): you can now switch between maps using a dropdown (not available in the previous version)
- Credit balance: now visible on the map and placed in the top-right with a star icon for better visibility and consistency with mobile
- Notifications (new): a new notifications area to view updates directly in the web app (previously only available on mobile)
Improved booking pop-up
The pop-up used to make or cancel a booking has been visually refreshed to provide clearer information and a more modern design. The key actions remain the same, including Confirm or Cancel booking.
New booking
This page was first introduced with the new mobile app last year and has now been added to the web for consistency. It offers an alternative way to book without using the calendar or map, ideal for users who want a faster, more guided experience.
Step 1: Set your preferences
Choose your preferred location, dates, and booking options to help us find the best available spaces for you.
Step 2: Choose a space
Ronspot will display matching available spaces based on your preferences. Simply select your preferred option from the dropdown list.
Step 3: Confirm your booking
Review your selection and press Confirm to complete your booking.
Note: This page doesn’t replace existing options (booking from the calendar or map). It simply adds a third way to make a booking.
Find colleagues
Previously called Search bookings, this page has been renamed to better reflect its purpose.
The functionality remains the same: you can select a colleague from the dropdown and view when they’re booked in. We’ve simply refreshed the design to align with the new interface and improve overall consistency.
Emergency roles
There are no functional changes here: you can select a role from the dropdown and view the employees booked in under that role.
As with other pages, the design has been refreshed to match the new interface and ensure a consistent experience.
Profile
Previously, user settings were split between Settings and Change password. These options have now been consolidated into a single Profile page, with a refreshed design aligned with the mobile app experience.
From here, users can manage their personal details, vehicle information, account preferences, and password.
Launch date
On June 12th 2026, we’ll be launching the long-awaited redesign of the Ronspot web application at a new URL. To ensure a smooth transition, both the current and new applications will run side by side for a month. Once the transition period is complete, all users will be permanently redirected to the new URL.
These updates align the web platform with the mobile app, delivering a more consistent, intuitive, and streamlined experience across devices. While the core functionality remains unchanged, the refreshed interface and new booking flow offer greater flexibility and a more guided way to manage your workspace.
As this is a brand-new web app, you may encounter the occasional bug. We appreciate your understanding and encourage you to share any issues or feedback. Our team will be actively monitoring and resolving them as quickly as possible.
