Before Ronspot, Metso Outotec had an employee car park where they allocated spaces to employees each day. A problem started to arise when employees were choosing not to drive to work/use their space without telling the company admins. Not to mention, having 300 employees and only 150 parking spaces.

Therefore, spaces were going unused in the car park. Around the same time, Metso Minerals and Outotec merged to become Metso Outotec, or the MO Group. This meant the office wanted to offer up as many spaces to employees as possible to maximise occupancy and increase efficiency.

By rolling out Ronspot’s parking management system, employees could easily book spaces in advance, while admins maximised occupancy across a limited supply of 150 spaces for 300 employees. Adoption was quick and the solution immediately reduced wasted spaces and daily frustration.
