What is Multi-Factor Authentication?

Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) serves as an additional layer of security for the Ronspot admin panel. This feature enhances security measures by requiring administrators to receive an email notification every time they log in. To confirm their identity and gain access to the admin panel, administrators must click the provided link.

Enabling MFA for your Admin Account


Step 1 – Go to ‘Change Password’

Log in to the admin panel, click on the icon in the top right corner, and select Change password


Step 2 – Switch on the Multi-Factor Authentication

Locate the , and click on Update to save the changes


 

Enabling MFA for other Admin Accounts


Step 1 – Edit the Admin User

In the admin panel, navigate to Advanced Settings -> Admin Users in the sidebar menu. Find the admin profile to edit and click on the edit icon


Step 2 – Switch on the Multi-Factor Authentication

Locate the , and click on Update to save the changes


 

Logging in with MFA


Step 1 – Provide your login details

On the admin login page, enter your username or email address and password. Then click on the LOGIN button.


Step 2 – Check your emails

A message will appear instructing you to check your inbox for an email from Ronspot to complete your login. Check your emails for a message titled Login MFA Verification.


Step 3 – Click on the provided link

Open the email titled Login MFA Verification and click on the provided link, redirecting you to the admin dashboard.
